Crazy shopping weekend

Lindsay's parents came to visit this past weekend. It's probably the last time we'll see either of our parents before Anderson gets here. It's crazy to think how close it's getting! Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

We went on a wild shopping spree while they were in town. While it now seems Andy has every possible thing an 8 lb (random estimate) person could need, we keep thinking of more. Here are a few things he got this weekend:
A bouncy chair
A Pack & Play
A bath

A "Bumbo" seat - which is for him to sit in when he's first able to hold himself up. The picture on the right is off the box - I found it slightly humorous that this is apparently a Christian chair.

A "Boppy" pillow and cover

A baby first aid kit and thermometer (which works on Lindsay and me, too...we've been taking out temperature regularly - mine is 97.5 as of the making of this post)

A mirror for in the car - so we can see him in his rear-facing car seat. It's pretty cool because it has lights in the corners that flash and it plays music. The best part is, there is a remote to keep on the sun visor to turn it on and off. My boss has one of these, and she said her three year old daughter wore out the batteries in the remote before her baby was even born. Lindsay and I will have to be careful not to do that. (note - we do not have a 3 year old daughter)

And a Diaper Champ. After much consideration, using cloth diapers has been abandoned. And we now have the diaper champ to hopefully keep the smell somewhat under control if we don't get every diaper out to the dumpster immediately.
