is that really another post??

Yes, I know it's hard to believe, but here is another post! I stayed home from work today to try and get over my stye. And so I didn't scare my coworkers too much. Here is Andy checking out his scary dad.

Today, Andy is wearing one of the cute outfits that Kelli & Stacy Peters got him.

Here is a classic shot of Andy in his crib with his mobile. While he occasionally watches the mobile, he usually find the red checkered pattern on the bumper to be more entertaining.

And lastly, here is just a cute picture of him sleeping after church yesterday.

by request

I reorganized the Yahoo Photos into a separate album for March and April. I'll continue to separate pictures by month. Hopefully this will make it more manageable for people to browse.

And, I have a stye on my left eyelid. It's fun.

It is so nice here today - it feels like spring is back. We took Andy and Ginger on a walk.

That's it for now! Hope everyone enjoys the updates. And please leave comments - it makes us feel special!

Granddad & Grandmom come to visit

Grandmom and Granddad Luttrell came by and visited yesterday afternoon. It was nice that they could stop by while they were in town to see the Dead Sea Scrolls. Andy had lots of fun being held by them. And we enjoyed being treated to dinner at Mimi's! (to avoid confusion, Andy's Mimi is not affiliated with the restaurant Mimi's)

Andy is almost strong enough to sit in his Bumbo. Isn't it cool? And he still likes his Easter monkey from Mimi.

This is a really cool picture that Lindsey took when she was here.

cute outfit from Uncle Steve & Aunt Vicki

Ok, I'm not sure what their technical title is - so they will remain Uncle Steve and Aunt Vicki. They sent Andy this cute outfit. He also has a book from Dana Peters that has the taggies also. We'll have to try and figure out a time to go to California to visit Steve and Vicki.

snow, Chipotle, and taxes

Isn't this weather crazy? They are saying that April may have a colder average temperature than March this year! Crazy. Ahh, global warming. (seriously) This is a cool picture I fuond of the JC Nichols fountain on the plaza all frozen a couple weeks ago. And yesterday (Saturday), it snowed in the morning! It was pretty. Very wet snow; and it melted right away. We're supposed to have another cold blast towards the end of the month, too. I have become slightly obsessed with the NBC Action News weather blog. I feel like it keeps me on the inside track with Kansas City weather. Check it out, it's cool.

We had Chiptole for lunch yesterday. They are doing a special for tax day! If you buy a burrito on Saturday or Sunday, you can take your receipt in on Monday, along with your completed "BurritoEZ form" and get a free burrito! I scanned the burrito tax form for everybody to look at, because it is pretty darn funny. Enjoy.

Andy does NOT want to work at Krispy Kreme, Aunt Lindsey! She got him ths hat when we picked up breakfast there while they were in town.

Isn't he getting so strong? Here he is showing off while doing tummy time.

I can't remember if I posted the picture of Andy in his going home outfit while he was in the hospital. It was WAY TOO BIG! Well, it about fits now. And, thanks to the crazy cold weather (see above) he's been able to wear it. Isn't he cute?

Easter

Andy's first time going to church was supposed to be Easter Sunday. The day before we went to the mall to find him a nice Easter outfit to wear. We found this cute on at Baby Gap. It was hard to find a cute little boys outfit for Easter - although part of the problem may have been that we went shopping the day before Easter. So, we got the outfit and decided what service to go to and had our plans all set. Well, I think Andy was upset that he wasn't included in the decision making process. So, he made his own plan which involved being awake for most of Saturday night. Needless to say, we didn't end up going to church on Sunday. But, we did get some cute pictures of him in his Easter outfit. And he wore it to church this morning, so that was good.

Church went alright for him this morning. He did fine during the music at the beginning - which is pretty loud. Then, there were a two baptisms. Andy did not like the loud applause following the baptisms. He lasted a few minutes longer before Lindsay took him out of the sanctuary. But - it was good for his first time. On a side note, we started a series at church on marriage and relationships (titled "Let's Fall in Love"). I'd recommend going to our church's website and listening to today's message. It was really good - and entertaining.

Lindsey & Thomas' visit

Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Thomas came to KC to meet Andy last weekend (4/6-4/7). They came down on Friday night and stayed until after lunch on Saturday. It was really fun to have them here, and Andy really liked being held by his Aunt and Uncle (or future uncle - to be exact). Lindsey even got to see Andy shoot a nice stream of pee - almost hitting me (Brett) in the face. Here are a few pictures from their visit. Their are more on Lindsey's blog and on our photos website.

Anderson Luttrell - Bank Examiner

Today Lindsay and Andy came and visited me at work.  It was fun to get to show off Andy (and Lindsay) to my coworkers.  Some of the ladies at my work were a little frustrated that he was sleeping the whole time he was there; but it was probably for the best.  He had been up all morning being a little bit cranky for his mom.  I think Andy will make a very good bank examiner some day.

Tomorrow, Aunt Lindsey comes to meet Andy for the first time!  We'll be sure and get lots of pictures and post some on here.

1 month birthday

Here is the 4 week old picture I promised. Isn't he cute??

Andy celebrated his 1 month birthday on Monday. It's really amazing how big he's gotten. Some friends of ours had a baby yesterday morning and we went to visit them and it was crazy how much bigger Andy was than their son. Here's a 1 month old picture.

We also went and looked at some houses yesterday after work. We're not doing anything right away, but starting to see what's out there. We'll keep everyone posted if we get something, but it probably won't be until closer to the end of the year unless a REALLY good deal shows up.

Here is a picture of Monte (our friend that just had a baby...well, his wife Nicol had the baby) and Gavin (baby) and myself and Andy.

Andy's Aunt Lindsey is coming to visit on Friday. We're excited for her to meet Andy, and I know she is excited as well. We're planning to take Andy to church for the first time on Sunday. We'll have to be sure he has a cute Easter outfit. Don't worry, we'll take lots of pictures.

Here are just a few other pictures. One of Andy and I taking a nap, and then just a cute one of Andy with his eyes WIDE open (in case you can't tell what they are pictures of).
